Saffron Bathrooms is a family-run showroom in Saffron Walden, Essex. In the family's own words, they're honest local owners dedicated to giving you your dream bathroom at a budget to suit. The idea is a simple one: give people a proper place to see a bathroom before they buy it — real ranges laid out to touch and compare, with owners on hand who actually listen.
It's run by Christopher and Morgan, the two directors behind the business. Brassware & taps
Protect the finish
- Wipe brushed-brass and matt-black taps dry after use — limescale and cleaning sprays are the two things most likely to mark a premium finish.
- Use only a soft cloth and mild soapy water; avoid abrasive creams and anything acidic, which can etch living finishes over time.
- If a tap starts to drip or a handle loosens, ask us — as your local supplier we can point you to the right part rather than leaving you searching.
Tiles & flooring
Seal and keep clean
- Reseal the silicone around baths, basins and shower trays as soon as it discolours or lifts, before water can get behind the tiling.
- Clean porcelain, stone-effect tiles and flooring with pH-neutral products; strong bathroom cleaners can dull the surface you paid for.
- For natural stone or marble-effect tiling, a periodic seal keeps it repelling water and resisting stains.
Showers & glass
Keep it clear
- Squeegee glass screens and enclosures after showering — it's the single easiest way to stop limescale building on the glass.
- Descale shower heads and handsets gently to keep the spray pattern even — never force the nozzles.
